I think we’re ready for Santa to visit us! It’s been fun decorating our new home for Christmas and enjoying the season with a little baby. Most years, by the time Christmas is over, I’m ready to put the decor away, but this year, it feels like it just went up! Here’s a look at what we’ve done in our home.
Made wreaths for the front door;
Set the scene for Jesus’ birth
Adorned the staircase with garland, bows, and ornaments;
Dressed the tree in aqua, silver, white and red;
Created a sparkly vignette in the butler’s pantry;
Added some holiday cheer to the kitchen;
And living room;
Created a holiday tray;
Displayed the Christmas cards with clothespins;
Added some girly holiday touches to my office; and
Hung the stockings with care! Whew!
Today will be about baking cookies, making chocolate covered toffee, grocery shopping, and getting the house ready to host the in-laws. I’m wondering what you’re up to and hoping you are enjoying those final holiday preparations.
